Who is Jess Lee?
I was born in Portland, OR, and then at 9 years old, our family moved to the land of the igloos, the Iditarod, and the land of the midnight sun – aka Alaska! No, I did not live in an igloo or go ice-fishing for dinner, though I have ridden a dog-sled and seen FAR more than my fair share of moose…
After graduating from high school I moved to Philadelphia to attend the University of Pennsylvania. Since graduating I’ve been working in Philly at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, whilst cultivating a deep love for the Phillies, flag football, and food… no, wait, I already loved food. Edit: “deepER” love.
I also love the orchestra. I play an inordinate amount of video games. I detest the Stupid Excuse for a Painful Transportation Anomaly, aka SEPTA and thus ride my bike whenever possible. I am awesome at getting carsick, but if you have ever had the poor misfortune to lose your head to one of my nausea-induced rages, I offer you my sincerest apologies. I didn’t mean anything I said. I am often called “Jalaska” (Jessica from Alaska) or “Megaphone” (talk with me and you’ll likely soon learn why). I laugh at everything. I sneeze really loud. Random abilities have at some point included wind surfing, clay wheel throwing, horse back riding, fish-gutting, and sound mixing. I would love to do more of any of the above given the opportunity… except maybe the fish-gutting.
But most awesomely I am a good, personal pal of Jesus Christ. And so awesome is He, I am now going to introduce Him to some new friends in Hiroshima, Japan.
=DDD u r so funny! =DDD
